About Us

THG Holidays is a tour operator specialising in providing bespoke holidays to suit the needs of our customers. We started trading as part of the Thomson Travel Group in 2001 when we first developed a limited programme to Bali. Since this time we have grown steadily and increased our programme to meet the needs of our customers. The one thing that has remained constant is that we will only enter a market that we are specialist in and know that we are able to add value to our customers.

In 2007, following a review of future strategy the THG Holidays business was bought by the existing management team and is now proud to be a truly independent tour operating business. As part of such a large and prestigious travel group the business enjoyed strong business relationships and followed best practice and has built a good reputation for quality, expertise and service. This background will allow us to build for future growth and we believe gives us a real competitive edge in the market. We are a small, friendly and fast moving business with the inherent pedigree and business practices of a large and well respected former parent.

Meet the sales team:

Mandy Jones

Mandy is our sales supervisor and has been in travel for 20 years. Mandy has travelled extensively to the Far East has returned to Bali over 5 times on family holidays

Andrew Morgan 

Andrew has been in travel for 10 years, starting in a retail travel agency after just leaving school then moved to selling beach holidays and joined THG seven years ago specialising in the Far East. Andrew is now our senior product developer.

Senet Doble

Senet is originally from South Africa and came to Wales to get married and has settled in Swansea. Senet is well travelled and has been working in travel for the past 8 years.

Rosario Gifford

Italian born  Rosario comes from Naples but now lives in Swansea with his wife and children. Rosario is our resident cities expert and has been in travel for past 6 years

Janet Owen

Jan has worked in travel for 8 years and has not lost any of her enthusiasm.  She is a cruise specialist and has recently moved into the Far East team.  Her favourite holiday experience was aboard Royal Caribbeans, Splendour of the Seas.

Elise Howells

Elise is the newest member of the THG team but has a wealth of knowledge and travel experience having been in the industry for over 12 years.  Elise is a North America expert having travelled many times to the US and has been a key factor in the launch of our North America programme.

Jackie Edwards

Jackie has travelled extensively in South East Asia and is very knowledgable on the hotels, resorts and destinations. Jackie has worked in THG Holidays for the past 18 months.

Anna Bozygit

Anna is a city and European expert and has been in travel 4 years.

Kerry is a Far East and Middle East expert and has been in travel for 8 years. Kerry previously worked for Thomson holidays before joining THG Holidays 3 and a half years ago.

Rebecca Haines

Rebecca is our youngest member of the team and has been with us for two years. Rebecca is one of our shortbreak experts and has just returned from her honeymoon where she experienced the Far East and stayed in Thailand.
