AIR TRAVEL ORGANISER'S LICENCE
The License is issued by the CAA to tour operators who meet certain financial requirements including putting up a 'bond'. If the tour operator fails, the bond money is used to enable clients abroad to complete their holidays and return home, and to compensate those who still have to go on holiday, but have paid some or all the cost in advance.
