The State of Grenada includes its sister islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Grenada is a former British Colony and is part of the Commonwealth. The island is 21 miles long by 12 miles wide and encompasses an area of 133 square miles. A ferry and airline service operates daily between Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique. Grenada is situated in the Eastern Caribbean, between Trinidad & Tobago in the South and St. Vincent & the Grenadines to the north. Grenada has a population of 102,000 people and has a reputation of being a safe and friendly destination.
