High on your "must see" list should be the incredible Royal Palace at Phnom Penh with its stunning 59 meter tower. Although this is now the official residence of the King, there's still plenty to see and do. Of course, no holiday in Cambodia is complete without a visit to the fabulous Angkor Wat temple complex. A classic example of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat dates back to the 12 Century.
Cambodia's turbulent past should not be forgotten however and a visit to the chilling Toul Sleng Museum is a fascinating way to help understand the history of this country.
Cambodia Weather
The dry season in Cambodia is between October and April with the peak temperatures usually in April and much cooler in November, December and January.
75% of Cambodia's rain falls in the wet season between May and October. Even in the rainy season it tends to rain in short bursts of an hour or two rather than drizzle all day so you can you can plan around the wet weather. Please see our Cambodia weather chart for more details.
