Join us on a fascinating journey of the most dynamic cities, Kuala Lumpur and the island of Borneo, Kuching.
Day 01 - KUALA LUMPUR
Arrive Kuala Lumpur, the capital and largest city in Malaysia. A city of contrasts, Kuala Lumpur’s modern skyscrapers blend with impressive historic buildings to create a unique cityscape. After custom formalities, you’ll be escorted to your hotel to check-in and proceed for Kuala Lumpur City Tour.
Discover the old and new, starting from where the city began, which is at the confluence of two rivers. Visits include the King's Palace, the National Museum, the National Monument and the superb buildings at the Independence Square as well as the Moorish-style railway station. Observe the contrast between historical architecture and modern skyscrapers in an abundant setting of greenery. You will also get to visit a local handicraft centre and a photo stop at the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers. In the evening, proceed on to a local restaurant “Restoran Seri Melayu” for a typical Malay buffet dinner and a vibrant cultural performance. To dine at here is a total Malay Heritage experience in itself, an authentic Malay Cuisine is served within an ambience of Malay Décor, music and dance. The trappings of Malay Traditional Cuisine and Culture at its best.

Day 03 - KUALA LUMPUR / CAMERON HIGHLANDS
Breakfast served in the hotel. Transfer by overland to Cameron Highlands. Cameron Highlands which is 1542 metres above sea level and famous for its tea plantation and cool temperatures. Not far from Tapah, a few families devote their livelihood to weaving bamboo basket used for vegetable packing. A short stop at the Lata Iskandar waterfall and Orang Asli huts along the winding drive up Cameron Highlands. The plateau is marked by the rolling hill slopes of tea bushes. You may catch some workers collecting tea leaves. The temperature can drop to 15 degrees Celsius. Sweaters are recommended for evenings.

Day 04 - CAMERON HIGHLANDS / PANGKOR
Breakfast served in the resort. After breakfast, depart to Pangkor for overland transfer. As we arrive at the jetty, we will take approximately 30 minutes ferry rideacross to the island of Pangkor.Pangkor Island is an idyllic and beautiful island resort for a carefree and relaxing holiday. Its natural scenery of green hills and palm-fringed beachesof fine white sand lapped by the warm blue waters of the Straits of Malacca is truly magnificent. Be awed by the natural beauty of unspoilt nature, exotic flora and fauna, secluded pristine beach and breathtaking sunset that makes the resort one of preferred holiday destinations in Malaysia.

Breakfast served in the resort. Enjoy a full day at leisure to rest and unwind from your busy vacation.

Day 07 - PANGKOR / KUCHING
Breakfast served in the resort. After breakfast, take the first ferry ride to the jetty. Depart from jetty to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for flight to Kuching. Arrival Kuching in the afternoon, the gateway to the legendary island of Borneo. After custom formalities, you’ll be escorted to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the rest of the day free.

Day 08 - KUCHING / SEMENGGOH ORANG UTAN SANCTUARY / BATANG AI
Breakfast served in the hotel. A half an hour drive passing through huge timberland is a sanctuary that is home to the orang utans rescued from capivity and being rehabilitated in their natural habitat. The orang utan here are set free in a 740 hectares forest reserve and nurtured to readapt themselves to the life in the jungles. Watch them at close distance during their feeding time.
Depart from Kuching by air-conditioned vehicle for Hilton Batang Ai Resort, 166 miles from Kuching City, passing through scenic countryside consisting of quaint little towns, village, padi fields, pepper and oil palm plantations interspersed with secondary and virgin jungle as the road starts to wind and undulate as you go deeper into the interior. Stop for lunch at Lachau, a small town on the way to the resort. Arrive at the Hydro lake at Lubok Antu. Board a shuttle ferry to the resort situated on the southern bank. Overnight at The Hilton Batang Ai Resort. Dinner at the resort. Note : If you arrive at the resort before 1600 hrs, you can proceed for a Nature Walk with the hotel recreation staff if weather permits.

Day 09 - BATANG AI / LEMANAK RIVER SAFARI / BATANG AI
Breakfast served in the resort. Depart from Batang Ai to Lemanak. Arrive at Lemanak jetty for a longboat ride up the Lemanak River, passing through typical Borneo countryside with a longhouse tucked behind almost every bend in the river. Pass through cool, thick, overhanging jungle foliage before arriving at an Iban or Sea Dayak longhouse. Observe the lifestyle of the natives as they go about their daily chores such as basket or mat weaving, mending of fishing nets, feeding of livestock and fishing. The longhouse resident will entertain you including traditional dancing, music, games and a glass of two of tuak (rice wine). After lunch, enjoy a blowpipe demonstration and try shooting one yourself. The Iban are a fun-loving people and visitors are expected to join in! Return to Batang Ai via the same route for dinner and overnight. Recommended items to bring for Lemanak trips: Owing to the primitive conditions, be prepared for some discomforts. Wear light cotton clothing, good walking shoes, raincoat or umbrella, torch light and some gifts for the people in the longhouse such as cigarettes for the chief and sweets for the children.

Day 10 - BATANG AI / DAMAI BEACH
Breakfast served in the resort. After breakfast, depart for Kuching via the same route as your arrival. Lunch stop will be made at a small roadside town before continuing your journey to Kuching. Upon arrival, check into your resort hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
