Weather and Climate in Mauritius

Mauritius is an all year round destination with little variation in temperature throughout the year.

Summer months - November to April, the temperature varies from 20 degrees to 28 degrees centrally and from 25 degrees to 33 degrees on the coast. Sea temperature approaches 27 degrees.

Winter months - May to October the average daytime temperature centrally is 19 degrees and on the coast it is about 3-5 degrees higher. Sea temperature is down to 22 degrees.

Western and northern regions are warmer and relatively drier than the East and South.

April-June and September-November are usually the most pleasant months.
