Transportation
If you do not wish to rent a car whilst in Miami (as often parking charges are significant) there are a few other economical options of getting around. THG Holidays can pre-book your transfers from the airport to your hotel, saving time and effort after your flight. The Metrorail is a 21 mile rail system that links Downtown Maimi with Hialeah and Kendall, with stops approximately every mile. Metrobus is a bus service with 60 routes within the county. Metromover is a free transit system linking Downtown Miami with Brickell and Omni business districts via a 4.4 mile elevated track using motorised cars. Cabs are available throughout the county. From the airport there are set tariffs to specified zones throughout the Miami area.
