Nightlife in Nusa Dua
There are a few bars and restaurants in Nusa Dua but it is a relatively quiet resort. In Nusa Dua, most hotels accommodate in-house bars, each imparting a different atmosphere. Notable nightclubs here include Club Tabuh in the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel, Lila Cita Fun Pub in the Grand Hyatt, the Quinn's Bar in the Sheraton Laguna, Octopus in the Bali Hilton and Bali Boulevard, which features cabaret shows nightly, in Melia Bali.
Shopping
Galeria Nusa Dua is a huge open air shopping mall with the stores has mostly fixed priced selling high quality items nestled in the heart of lavish hotels. This shopping complex is set in a relaxing and environmentally friendly atmosphere. The shops are scattered over a 17-hectare area so one can browse 150 boutique, souvenir and handicrafts shops by strolling along the shaded mall. One finds outlets for designer's labels from Prada, Giorgio Armani, Versace and Calvin Klein.
In Batik Keris Gallery, many outlets for fine jewelry and onyx souvenirs to scores of first class batik, ikat and handicraft items are priced in rupiah. The Tragia Department Store caters to daily needs and at the Duty Free Shops, for those leaving the country, there are classy tax-free items.
Within the complex, a selection of 30 restaurants offer Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indonesian and international fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Shuttle bus service is available for shoppers staying within the Nusa Dua complex.
Beaches in Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is a new luxurious resort area where the world's most sumptuous hotels gracefully integrate into the beautiful white beaches. Crystal clear water provides excellent snorkeling and diving site, and the waves on the northern and the southern part of Nusa Dua allow for great surfing opportunity. The white sand and shallow water at Nusa Dua beach is an ideal safe place for children to play in the sea, lifeguards are usually on duty.
Nusa Dua means two islands, at low tide the seabed is exposed so that two islands are joined to the mainland - great for exploring.
