4 Days / 3 Nights Taman Negara & Kuala Gandar
Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur / Taman Negara
Meet & greet by local representative between 0830-0845 hrs and overland journey to Kuala Tembeling jetty, journey takes approximately 4 hours. This brilliant tour to the national park takes you to one of the oldest rainforests on earth, aged 130 million years old.
Highlights : 1400 hrs, board a motorised longboat for another 2 - 2 and 1/2 hours boat ride (depending on the water level) to Kuala Tahan. Enroute you will be passing by local villages and lush tropical rainforest. any sightings of birds, monkeys and monitor lizards or water buffaloes are a bonus. Sighting of wildlife cannot be guaranteed due to the dense and huge area of Taman Negara (4343 sq km). Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan is approximately 1700 hrs. Register at reception of Taman Negara resort.
Dinner is served at hotel before you depart for tour. After dinner, an evening briefing will provide you with an introduction to the park and follow by night jungle walk. Return to resort after tour.

Day 2 - Taman Negara
Breakfast is served at hotel
Highlights : You will start with a jungle walk up Teresik Hill. This walk takes you further into the national park. The guide will highlight to you the rich flora found enroute. At the top of Teresik Hill, enjoy a panoramic view of the tropical rainforest and on a clear day see Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. Before returning to the base, you will proceed for canopy walkway, built 40 metres above the ground and 450 metres in length. You will experience the rainforest from a different perspective, as you will be closer to the top of the trees.
In the afternoon , you will take a motorised boat to the Lubuk Tenor fish Sanctuary where fascinating fish feeding experience awaits. Lubuk Tenor blessed with clear water (unless there is recent heavy rain) and many fish is the result of a successful eco tourism project involving local villagers and the government to create fish sanctuaries.
Continue on to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh and enjoy the deep pool delightful for swimming, resting or reading on the rocky area overlooking the river. Return to resort, rest of evening at leisure on own arrangements.

Day 3 - Taman Negara
Breakfast is served at hotel.
Highlights : Depart for a short boat ride and trek to explore a cave called Gua Telinga. This cave is home to bats, cave toads, crickets, frogs and other cave dwellers. If you are lucky, you may come across Batek Natives. These people are nomadic tribes and will move their homes from time to time (in short, its not guaranteed these people can be seen).
The Batek in native language means people of the jungle. Learn about their way of living and try the blowpipe used for hunting. Return to Kuala Tahan.
Afternoon take a 30 minute boat ride up through a series of 7 rapids shooting up to Kuala Trenggan. Relax, in this pristine are of the national park. Return to resort after tour, rest of the evening at leisure on own arrangements.

Day 4 - Taman Negara / Kuala Lumpur
Breakfast is served at hotel
Check-out resort, depart downstream by longboat to Kuala Temebling jetty. Upon arrival at Kuala Temebling jetty, journey overland to Kuala Lumpur with sightseeing enroute at Kuala Gandar.
Highlights : Situated in Krau Game Reserve Pahang, is a 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre. At the sanctuary, one will be able to up close and personal with the elephants. Lots of activities await you at the sanctuary. See, touch, bath, ride, milk and feed them. There are no words better to describe the excitement but to experience it yourself.
After tour, return to Kuala Lumpur, expected arrival time into Kuala Lumpur between 17.00-18.00hrs.
