Day 1 - Arrive Bangkok 

Welcome as you join us on a scenic journey along the highlights of Thailand. Your tour begins in Bangkok on arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to your accommodation, rest of the day at leisure

Day 2 - Bangkok

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit two famous Buddhist temples in Bangkok : Wat Trimitr with its Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) ; Wat Pho, with its massive reclining Buddha and Chedi of the Kings’ as well as The Grand Palace including wat Phra Kaew, the house of the Emerald Buddha image

Day 3 - Bangkok - River Kwai

After breakfast you will drive west to the River Kwai to visit the famous “Bridge of River Kwai” and world war II museum. Lunch at local restaurant near by the river. Continue to River Kwai and check-in at your hotel. Free time until dinner. Evening enjoy “Mon Traditional Dance”.

Day 4 - River Kwai - Ayuthaya

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the Hell Fire Pass memorial and museum then depart from River Kwai to Ayuthaya to visit Bang Pa In, the former Royal Summer Residence of King Rama V. Contonue by road to Ayuthaya old town visit Wat Srisanpetch, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and one of Ayuthaya’s most beautiful temples at Wat Chai Watthanaram. Lunch is served at hotel. Late afternoon free time to explore Ayuthaya town by walking.

Day 5 - Ayuthaya – Phitsanulok – Sukhothai

Breakfast at hotel. This morning you will drive further north to Phitsanulok, a major regional commercial centre, spread along the banks of Nan River. Visit the much-venerated shrine of Wat Mahathat, which is home to Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha image. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch a short drive to Sukhothai Historical Park, now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire beautiful standing Buddha statues as you explore the many ruined temples and monasteries. Dinner at Hotel.

Day 6 - Sukhothai  - Lampang – Chiang Rai

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, drive North to Lampang for visit Lampang Elephant Conservation Center, which also houses the only Elephant Hospital in Thailand. See elephants demonstration of their skill, followed by a short city tour in an old horse carriage. You will also visit the interesting 700 year old Wat Prathat Lampang Luang. Lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards drive along beautiful mountains to Chiang Rai. On the way to Chiang Rai visit Wat Rung Khun, the beautiful white temple. Dinner at hotel.

Day 7 - Chiang Rai – Mae Sai -  Golden Triangle

After breakfast, this morning you will climb narrow and scenic mountain roads to Doi Tung and along the way visit Lahu and Akha villages. You will continue driving to visit Mae Sai, Thailand’s northernmost town on the Myanmar border. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive to the renowned Golden Triangle where the Ruak and Mekong Rivers meet. Enjoy views over Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and the mighty Mekong River then proceed to the Hall of Opium to learn the history of opium and the drugs trade. OPTIONAL : boat trip will be available.  Dinner at hotel.

Day 8 - Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai 

After breakfast, you will drive further south to Chiang Mai “The Rose of the North”, Chiang Mai has a rich cultural and agricultural heriate and is famous for the production of high quality handicrats. Visit Doi Suthep, where you will change vehicles to travel the remainder of the journey by ‘Songthaew”, which is pick up utility truck with a covered area and two rows of seats in the back. You will travel by songthaew along a rough dirt track to visit the White Hmong people in their village. There maybe a chance to visit the village school here if in session. On the return journey, you will pay a visit to the temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep which offers spectacular views of Chiang Mai and the surrounding valley, from it’s mountain side location.  Return to city for lunch at local restaurant before check in at hotel in Chiang Mai. Dinner Khantok with traditional dances. After dinner visit Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.

Day 9 - Chiang Mai

After breakfast, you will visit an Orchid Farm and one of the elephant camps where skilled ‘Mahouts” show how elephant have worked in the jungles for centuries, with possibility for OPTIONAL : Elephant riding & river rafting on handmade bamboo rafts.  Lunch will be at a local restaurant before returning to hotel with leisure.   This evening, you will have a chance to taste the Northern dish called ‘Khao Soy” at Just Khao Soy Restaurant.

Day 10 - Chiang Mai - Phuket

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flight to Phuket.  On arrival, you will met and transferred to your hotel in Phuket where the rest of the day is at leisure

Day 11 - Phuket - Phi Phi Island

Breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred by vehicle and boat to your hotel on Phi Phi Island for your overnight stay

Day 15 - Phi Phi Island - UK

Departure from Phi Phi Island via Phuket for your onward flight to the UK.
