Air Travel There are no direct flights from the UK into Cocoa Beach, but some American carriers serve Melbourne International Airport via their US hubs. Orlando International or Orlando Sanford International are served by direct flights from the UK and are only 50 minutes drive away.

The Cocoa Beach area is very accessible whether you are travelling by car or prefer to use local transportation options.

Directions to Cocoa Beach Located just 35 miles (56 km) east of Orlando, Cocoa Beach has direct access to three major highways: Interstate I-95, highway U.S. 1, and the Beach Line Expressway (528), ensuring that it is easily accessible by road.

Getting around Town Ground transportation, both public and private, is available throughout Cocoa Beach, with taxis, shuttles, car rentals, buses, or even the Cocoa Beach trolleys which only service A1A. The Cocoa Beach Trolley owned and operated by Space Coast Area Transit runs from Port Canaveral to 13th Street South in Cocoa Beach. A ride on the Trolley costs just $1.25 with a special rate of .60 for seniors, veterans, disabled and students. There is no charge for children under five or for transfers to fixed route bus service.
