Brevard Zoo The Brevard Zoo is one of the Cocoa Beach area's most popular and endearing attractions! Built solely by volunteers, The Brevard Zoo features over 550 animals including giraffes, alligator, giant anteaters, cougars, eagles, river otters, exotic birds, kangaroo, giant fruit bats, and more. In 2008, the zoo added a children's only section called "Paws-On" which is an interactive play area featuring a kiddie pool, petting zoo, learning area, contact yard, and an adventurous playground full of fun for both children and adults.Admission: $12.50 Adults; $11.50 Seniors (60 & up) $9.50 Children (2-12) Children under 2 - FREE.

Ron Jon Surf Shop is a THE surfers Mecca making it one of Cocoa Beach's most visited attraction. Hailed as the world's most famous surf shop, Ron Jons Surf shop has over 52,000 square feet spread across three levels. Expect a huge selection of boards, bikinis and surfbrand clothing.

American Police Hall of Fame This educational attraction offers thousands of items on display such as a crime scene, gas chambre, electric chair and a forensics learning area and several interactive displays. A helicopter ride and an indoor gun range are also available for the general public.

Cocoa Beach Pier Marvel at the surfers as they "hang ten", view "heavenly bodies", or catch the big one while you enjoy a day at the Cocoa Beach Pier. Home to several restaurants and bars, plus cool shops, the Cocoa Beach Pier also provides the perfect back drop for beachside concerts and live musical entertainment.

Historic Downtown Areas The Space Coast boasts several historic downtown areas located in Titusville, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Eau Gallie and Melbourne. All of these districts are great destinations for dining, shopping, catching a play, perusing an art gallery or just taking an afternoon stroll.

Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is one of two National Parks located on Florida's Space Coast. The other being the Canaveral National Seashore. Consisting of 140,000 acres, the Refuge is home to American bald eagles, alligators, manatees, bobcats, armadillos and more. Built as a overlay of Kennedy Space Centre, take your time and explore this natural wonder which provides opportunities to hunt, bird watch, observe manatees, hike (the refuge has 3 nature trails one that's handicap accessible) and kayak.

Valiant Air Command and Vintage Warbird Museum is a non-profit museum dedicated to America's military. Sitting on 10 acres of property at the Space Coast Executive Regional Airport in Titusville, Florida, the museum maintains and restores all types of aircraft that were indigenous to the world's military Air Forces starting before WW1 to the present. In addition to vintage warbirds, the museum displays artifacts and memorabilia from the first world wars up to present time.

Andretti Thrill Park If you are looking for fun and excitement in Central Florida, Andretti Thrill Park is where you will want to be. For the past 10 years, people from all over the country have come here to enjoy the best in family entertainment. We keep the excitement going by regularly updating our facility with new karts on all our tracks, new games in the arcade, and a newly renovated lazer tag arena. We pride ourselves on offering entertainment for all members of the family from toddlers to teenagers and more.

Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory Planetarium Explore majestic sweeps of space and time at the Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory Planetarium, or enjoy a movie in their their three-story IWERKS Discovery Movie Theatre and finish with a stunning laser show under the dome for an unforgettable experience. Also visit their Art Gallery and Gift Shop before taking advantage of the mile-long nature trail that circles ClearLake right outside their facility. All laser extravaganza tickets are $7. And once you've whet your appetite, Florida's Space Coast's nightlife boasts a number of great entertainment choices. Fishing Florida's Space Coast is Florida fishing at its best! Whether you're a salt water enthusiast or fresh water, you'll love the fact that you can fish year round and that the area is the home to an excellent fleet of sportfishing charter boats and Port Canaveral is considered to be one of the safest ocean inlets on the east coast.
