Airlines

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) provides nonstop service to more than 65 U.S. cities on 22 domestic airlines and to 32 international points on 27 international carriers. A variety of services, amenities and concessions are offered at SFO including: a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train station linking SFO to San Francisco and the East Bay, and to Caltrain, which serves the Peninsula; a consolidated Rental Car Centre; AirTrain, an on-airport people mover linking the garages, terminals and Rental Car Centres.

Shuttles

Bay Area Rapid Transit BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is the fast, convenient way to get to San Francisco from SFO or OAK. BART fares are only $8.10 from SFO and $6.80 from OAK (including AirBART shuttle) and it only takes a half hour to get downtown. BART also goes from SFO/OAK to other Bay Area cities with fares from $1.75-$10.

Public Transport

Caltrain Terminal at Fourth and King streets. Operating trains daily and holidays from San Francisco to San Jose, with weekday commute hour service to Gilroy. Weekday shuttle bus from the terminal to the Financial District during peak commute periods; connects with Muni Metro (light rail) at Fourth and King streets. One block from AT&T Park. Golden Gate Transit This bus service links San Francisco to Marin and Sonoma counties via the Golden Gate Bridge. Patrons may travel daily as far north as Santa Rosa. Buses depart every 30- to 60-minutes from Financial District. San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency The SFMTA manages and operates the surface transportation network in San Francisco including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit, parking, traffic, taxis and streetscapes.

Muni Passports Muni Passports are good for unlimited rides on Muni, including cable cars. 3-day and 7-day Passports are good for three or seven consecutive days. Passports may be purchased in advance.Buy Your 1, 3, or 7 day Muni Passports at the SFMTA Customer Service Centre, 11 South Van Ness Avenue, or the Muni Ticket Sales offices. The Muni Passports cost $13 for a 1 day, $20 for a 3 day and $26 for a 7 day pass. Muni Passports are good on Muni only. They are not valid on BART, other transit systems, tour buses, or for transportation to or from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Passports expire at 11:59 p.m. on the first, third or seventh day of use, and must be used by January 31 of the year following the year printed on the cover of the Passport.

Historic Streetcars The Fisherman's Market and Wharfs line provides service every day from approximately 6am - 12:30am on Market Street and along The Embarcadero. The colourful streetcars are painted in a variety of paint schemes, representing U.S. transit systems that once ran these kind of streetcars
