Famed for its coffee Seattle is home to the first ever Starbucks and the original store can still be found within the market.
The Iconic Space Needle is synonymous with the Seattle skyline and at 605ft tall it provides breathtaking views of America's Emerald city. The attraction, originally built for the 1962 World Fair, also features the revolving Sky City restaurant.
The needle is located at the Seattle Centre complex which also includes the Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum, Seattle Children’s Museum and much more. Another highlight is The Underground Tour which is a 1 ½ hour walking tour above and below Seattle's streets allowing visitors a unique glimpse into the city’s history.
Seattle is a great for shopping with up-market boutiques, one off vintage stores and all the usual big brands you'd expect. Its compact downtown also means all the stores are within easy walking distance of the main hotels. One way to see the major attractions is with the convenient Hop-on hop off city tours, which will take you to all the must see places in the city and operates from May until September.

Visible from Seattle the stunning Mount Rainer is a haven for wildlife and nature. Standing at 14,411 ft the mountain and surrounding Cascade Peaks form the Mount Rainer National Park which includes waterfalls, 26 glaciers, 382 lakes and 470 rivers and Gray Wolves and bears are just two of species that call the park home.
Woodinville is a short drive from Seattle and is home to 50 wineries including the award winning Ste Michelle, it also boasts the exquisite Herb Farm, which serves up a delicious gastronomic feast of a nine course meal for diners. The Barking Frog is also a great choice for more casual dining.
