Day 1 - Arrive Hanoi 

Welcome as you join us on a scenic journey along the Discovery of Vietnam Tour. Your tour begins in Hanoi on arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to your accommodation, rest of the day at leisure

Day 2 - Hanoi

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart on a morning city tour which includes a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House & cottage, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Quan Thanh Pagoda.  You will visit Ba Dinh Square, where silent sentries guard the marble and granite mausoleum where Ho Chi Minh Linh lies in state.  Nearby visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum.  This afternoon you will then visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple and the army and historical museum, Hanoi's 36 ancient streets.  Continue to the temple of literature, built in 1070 and then dedicated to Confucious.

Day 3 - Hanoi - Halong Bay

After breakfast you will take the morning overland journey to Halong Bay City via But Thap Pagoda.  Upon arrival board the junk boat for the 4 hour cruise around Halong Bay including lunch onboard.  On return to Halong you will overnight in Halong City.

Day 4 - Halong - Hanoi - Danang

Breakfast at hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight to Danang.  Upon arrival pick up and transfer to the hotel where the rest of the stay is free at leisure.

Day 5 - Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. This morning you will take a tour walking around this quaint town, you will visit ancient merchants houses, a Hokkien temple, the 400 year old Japanese Covered bridge and the colourful riverside market.  The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 6 - Hoi An - My Son - Danang

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, you will drive to visit the remarkable ruins of My Son in a remote jungle valley.  My Son was formerly the religious centre of the Cham Kingdom and is a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site with more than 20 well-preserved monuments.  Continue to Danang, have lunch at a local restaurant.  Visit Danang's Cham Museum enroute, home to the worlds finest collection of Cham artwork and the marble mountains.  Return to Hoi An, rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 7 - Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, the rest of the day is free at leisure until your departure to Danang Airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 8 - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta

After breakfast, you will drive South to the Mekong Delta.  At My Tho, take a boat cruise along the river and a short walk to visit a handicraft workshop making products from coconut palms.  Experience a horse-drawn cart ride to visit a local house to enjoy a tea and taste some of the tropical fruits grown in the region.  Float on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta.  After lunch, visit a family-run business making coconut candies, before returning to My Tho.  Visit Trang pagoda if time permits.  Return to Ho Chi Minh city by late afternoon where the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, this mornings journey will take you out of the city centre to the Cu Chi regions, where you will visit the vast underground network of tunnels built first as defence against the French and later expanded during the American War.  Return to Ho Chi Minh for half day city tour, visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Ben Thanh Market.

Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet

After breakfast at hotel you will be picked up and transferred to Phan Thiet, upon arrival check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 11 - 12 - Phan Thiet

Breakfast at hotel, where the rest of the day is free at leisure to explore this wonderful beach resort, why not take a trip up to the sand dunes of Phan Thiet with spectacular views across the ocean.

Day 13 - Phan Thiet

Breakfast at hotel, rest of the day is free at leisure before your departure to the airport for your onward flight to the UK.
