Often described as an ‘island paradise’ by visiting tourists, the island boasts pristine white sandy beaches, warm crystal-clear ocean waters, and a hot tropical climate. Koh Rong is located to the West of Cambodia and is one of the biggest provinces in the whole country with a long untouched white sand coastline and a mountainous, forested and largely inaccessible interior, which embraces part of the Cardamom Mountains. Koh Rong is generally a quiet area, but there are many reasons to stay in this relaxed town. Many visit to stay for some pure well-deserved R&R in their neighbouring islands, many come to explore the tropical nature that can be found in their deep rainforests and rivers, and then others visit for a taste of its vibrant party nightlife.
