From the moment I landed at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, humid air greeted me as I stepped off the plane, and I felt an immediate sense of relaxation. A short drive later, I arrived at the Bali Mandira Beachfront Resort & Spa, my home for the next 7 days.
The resort is a stunning oasis right on the shores of Legian Beach. As I walked through the entrance, I was welcomed with a refreshing drink and a warm Balinese greeting. The lush gardens, the sound of waves crashing on the shore, and the tranquil ambiance made me feel like I had stepped into a different world.
My accommodation was a Deluxe Cottage Room, nestled within the resort's lush gardens. Spacious, elegant, and with a blend of modern amenities and traditional Balinese decor, it was the perfect retreat. My terrace had views of the tropical surroundings. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the garden was a magical experience that set the tone for each day.
Legian Beach is renowned for its golden sands and vibrant atmosphere. Every morning i'd walk along the beach, feeling the soft sand between my toes and the gentle waves lapping at my feet. The beach was bustling with activity – surfers catching waves, locals offering massages, and vendors selling colourful sarongs and handcrafted souvenirs.
Most of my vacation was spent bodyboarding at Legian Beach. The waves were perfect – not too daunting but thrilling enough to provide an adrenaline rush.
I spent hours riding the waves, the salty spray, the rush of the water, and the sheer joy of catching a good wave made it an unforgettable experience. Taking breaks in between, I enjoyed chatting with other beachgoers and sipping on fresh coconut water from a nearby vendor. By the end of the day, I was pleasantly exhausted and full of stories to tell.
One of my favourite rituals during my stay was watching the sunset at Legian Beach. Each evening, I would find a cozy spot on the beach or at the resort's Azul Beach Club, enjoy a Bintang, and watch as the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colours. The sunsets in Bali are legendary, and witnessing them was a reminder of the island's natural beauty and tranquillity.
As my vacation came to an end, I found it hard to say goodbye to Bali and the wonderful Bali Mandira Beachfront Resort & Spa. The memories of my time there – the serene mornings, the adventurous days, the spa treatments, and the stunning sunsets – will stay with me forever. Bali is truly a paradise, and my stay at the Bali Mandira made it an unforgettable experience. I left with a heart full of gratitude and a promise to return to this magical island someday.
