Similan Islands
The Similan Islands are located in the Andaman Sea on the West coast of Southern Thailand. The Similan archipelago covers 140 sq.km's and consists of eleven islands: Koh Bangu, Koh Bon, Koh Ha, Koh Hin Pousar, Koh Huyong, Koh Meang, Koh Payan, Koh Payang, Koh Payu, Koh Similan, Koh Tachai, the eleventh island is now closed indefinately. The islands are world famous for some of the best scuba diving in Soputh East Asia. The islands are closed from mid May through to mid October each year.

Khao Sok National Park
If your looking for a tropical hideaway, then look no further than Khao Sok National Park. Located around an hour and a half's drive from Khao Lak, this large area of rainforest is brimming with wildlife, waterfalls and streams. Close and personal elephant encounters, jungle trekking on foot and canoeing are all possible. One of the most interesting area is the beautiful Cheow Larn Lake, located in the heart of the National Park, with it's floating raft houses and luxury tents.
