This morning you will embark on a half day city tour of Reykjavik. This tour introduces the highlights of Reykjavik’s past and present. We visit the main city landmarks such as the Pearl and Hallgrimskirkja church, both of which offer a fantastic view over the city, its centre and harbour, and the famous Reykjavik 101 area.
After your city tour you will be transferred for a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon. The milky blue waters of the Blue Lagoon are rich in mineral salts and fine silica mud, which condition and exfoliate the skin. There is a reason for the Blue Lagoon being described by National Geographic as a geothermal gift of nature. Blue Lagoon’s mission is to promote wellness and energy for life through forces of nature. There is simply nothing like the Blue Lagoon. You are free to spend the evening at leisure.

This day will consist of a Golden Circle tour. On this day tour, you will visit many of Iceland’s most known attractions, including the world famous Geysir geothermal area, where you will be able to see shooting towers of water. The world famous Geysir is somewhat shy these days, on the other hand, the nearby Strokkur spouts up to 30 meters high every 5-10 minutes. This tour also includes Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park, where the forces of the Mid-Atlantic rifts are clearly visible. Like scientists describe it the closest you can get to walking on the ocean floor. On return to the hotel, you are free to spend the evening at leisure.
