The two camps, The Elephant Camp and the floating Rainforest Camp, are both situated in Khao Sok natural park, part of Southern Thailand’s largest stretch of primary Rainforest. Despite being tucked away in the Green, these camps are easily reachable from popular beach destinations like Phuket, Khao Lak, Khanom, Krabi and even Koh Samui.

Elephant Hills offers 2-4 day luxury adventure tours in and around stunningly beautiful Khao Sok National Park in Southern Thailand. Highlight of these tours is our unique Elephant park experience, during which you will get to interact with these magnificent creatures. Besides that, you do have the option to marvel at breathtaking landscapes while lazily being paddled down a river in a canoe, explore mysterious mangrove swamps and legendary jungle lakes full of limestone formations, relax at deserted beaches on your family vacation, visit local markets, discover primary rainforest on foot and much more.

After an exciting day in Khao Sok national park, you may enjoy a drink from our Jungle Explorer’s Bars either at The Elephant Camp or at Rainforest Camp while exchanging travel tales with other guests before sinking onto the comfortable mattress in your luxurious en-suite tent.

Elephant Hills comprises two Luxury Tented Camps: The Elephant Camp and Rainforest Camp. While the setting and the activities on the schedule of both are entirely different, the standard of the tents of the luxury tents is equally high in both camps. All tents are equipped with proper, comfortable beds, wooden floors, electricity as well as an en-suite bathroom. (Note: Electricity at Rainforest Camp might be limited at times, since the camp is powered by solar and wind energy.) At either location all that separates you from the superb nature around you are mosquito nets, which ensure the entire tent is bug- and insect-proof – but all the fascinating sounds from your fascinating surroundings will sing you to sleep (yes, we mean you, Asian toads & cicadas) as well as wake you up in the morning (listen out for those tantalizing whooping gibbon calls).

All bathrooms come with all amenities you might expect from a normal hotel room: Hot and cold water shower, western-style toilets, and Elephant Hills shampoo collection, and, at The Elephant Camp, they even include a hairdryer for you. Yes, you will certainly not be roughing it during your stay in Khao Sok.

Our luxury tents are all of the same size and standard. The only thing you might want to think about is the bed configuration – most likely depending on who you are traveling with. But don’t worry, we have the perfect solutions for honeymooners and couples, single travelers, friends staying together or even for a whole family on tour.

Elephant Hills offers two to four day soft adventure tours in and around the breathtakingly beautiful nature area of Khao Sok National Park. All our tour packages are fully inclusive of accommodation, full board, activities as per chosen itinerary, a fully trained, TAT-licensed English speaking Thai tour guide as well as joint transfers to and from Elephant Hills sanctuary. (Not included are soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, personal expenses (e.g. souvenirs) as well as tips and gratuities.)

All tours are suitable for most levels of fitness; the age range of our guests is usually between four and seventy years, but occasionally we also do have the pleasure to welcome even more senior adventurers to our luxury tented camps.
