DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CATANIA AND DISCOVERY OF RAGUSA REGION
Upon your arrival at Catania airport, embark on an exciting journey that awaits you. Pick up your rental car and head towards the charming region of Ragusa. Your lodging in Ragusa or its nearby surroundings will provide an ideal starting point for this adventure.

DAY 2: SICILIAN BAROQUE DELIGHTS (MODICA, SCICLI, DONNA FUGATA CASTLE) - INDULGE IN CHOCOLATE
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today's focus is on exploring the captivating Sicilian Baroque, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first destination is the charming town of Modica, renowned for its artisanal chocolate. Immerse yourself in the rich flavours with a chocolate-tasting experience in the heart of this baroque city (chocolate tasting included). 
Next, venture to Scicli, a hidden gem of Baroque architecture, acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Its labyrinthine streets and remarkable structures narrate the city's historical narrative. Notably, Scicli gained fame as the backdrop for the beloved Italian television series 'Inspector Montalbano,' inspired by Andrea Camilleri's novels. In the afternoon, consider a journey through time at Castello Donna Fugata, an enchanting 18th-century edifice showcasing the grandeur of Sicilian Baroque architecture (entrance not included). Returning to Ragusa in the evening, you'll have free time to unwind and reflect on the extraordinary experiences of the day.

DAY 3: EXPLORING LOCAL GEMS: MARZAMEMI AND VENDICARI – INDULGE IN WINE TASTING
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at the hotel. Today, we recommend uncovering the treasures of Eastern Sicily with visits to two captivating destinations. First on the itinerary is Marzamemi, a picturesque fishing village nestled along the southeastern coast of the island. Immerse yourself in its authentic ambience characterized by charming fishermen's houses, cobblestone squares, and delectable seafood restaurants. Your journey continues with a guided tour of a genuine winery, where you'll gain insights into the wine production cycle. The experience culminates in a delightful tasting of three wines accompanied by olive oil, must, and bread (tour and tasting included). Following this, venture to the Vendicari Nature Reserve, an oasis of natural beauty boasting a diverse array of fauna and flora. Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today, we invite you to delve into the beauty and history of two Eastern Sicilian gems. Begin your exploration in Noto, a city celebrated for its magnificent Baroque architecture. Wander through the historic centre, where churches, palaces, and squares showcase sumptuous and intricately detailed designs. 
Next on the itinerary is Syracuse, one of the region's most captivating cities with a rich history dating back to ancient Greece. The visit to the Greek Theatre, offering a breathtaking panoramic view, will transport you to the grandeur of ancient culture. However, the true masterpiece awaits on the Island of Ortigia, a small island connected to Syracuse by a bridge. Here, cobbled streets, vibrant markets, and historic buildings create an unforgettable experience, making it a highlight of your journey through Eastern Sicily.

DAY 5: CATANIA - DISCOVERY AND JOURNEY TO TAORMINA
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before setting off for Taormina. Begin by making a stop in the vibrant city of Catania, known for its unique blend of culture, history, and entertainment. We recommend kicking off your day at the renowned Catania fish market, an unforgettable sensory experience. Take a leisurely stroll through the streets of the historic centre, where you can admire the majestic Duomo and lively squares. After immersing yourself in the best that Catania has to offer, it's time to continue your journey. Your next destination is Taormina, one of the most captivating locations in Eastern Sicily. Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, Taormina provides breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Upon reaching Taormina or its vicinity, indulge in the luxury of this destination, characterized by high-fashion boutiques, world-class restaurants, and spectacular panoramic vistas.

DAY 6: AMIDST ETNA VOLCANO AND SICILIAN DELIGHTS - INDULGE IN TYPICAL FLAVORS

DAY 7: TAORMINA, THE GEM OF THE IONIAN SEA
On your second-to-last day, we recommend immersing yourself in the allure of Taormina, one of the most captivating destinations in Eastern Sicily. Often hailed as the 'Pearl of the Ionian' for its enduring beauty, this picturesque city beckons with its timeless charm. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Greek Theatre, a historic structure perched above the crystalline sea. Marvel at its grandeur and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Wander through Taormina's cobbled streets, where luxury boutiques offer an irresistible blend of glamour and style. Explore artisan shops showcasing unique creations and local souvenirs. Venture beyond Taormina to discover the nearby seaside villages, such as Giardini Naxos. This coastal town boasts enchanting beaches and spectacular views of Mount Etna. DAY 8 – FAREWELL TO CATANIA
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before departing for Catania airport. Return your rental car and board your flight home, bidding farewell to the enchanting landscapes and memories of your Eastern Sicily journey.
