DAY 1: Arrival in Reykjavik
Upon arrival in Reykjavik, a brief journey will take you to your hotel, allowing you to unwind and refresh. Alternatively, you can seize the chance to explore the city's vibrant and contemporary atmosphere. A leisurely walk around the city presents numerous opportunities for enjoyment.

DAY 2: Borgarfjörður
Embark on your adventure this morning, starting with a journey to the picturesque village of Borgarnes before continuing towards Skagafjördur Fjord, where the population of Icelandic horses surpasses that of humans. Skagafjördur is adorned with three enchanting islands and showcases stunning natural vistas, home to diverse birdlife, including puffins nesting in the cliffs and majestic falcons soaring gracefully overhead. Your route then leads you through the rugged mountain pass of Öxnadalsheidi, culminating in your arrival at the northern Icelandic capital, Akureyri.

DAY 3: Lake Mývatn
In the captivating landscapes of North Iceland, Lake Myvatn stands as a geological wonder shaped by volcanic eruptions over 4,000 years ago. It holds a prominent position among Iceland's largest lakes. Surrounding it is a vibrant geothermal zone that tantalizes all your senses, with stops at Námaskarð's bubbling sulphur mud pits and steaming vents. Continuing our journey, we encounter Dettifoss, acclaimed as one of Europe's most magnificent waterfalls. After a spellbinding pause to admire this natural wonder, we traverse the highlands of Mödrudalsöræfi, arriving at the tranquil town of Egilsstaðir, our final destination for the day.

DAY 4: East fjords
Today, we set our course towards the serene and breathtakingly scenic East fjords. Known for its sparse population, this region boasts an ethereal tranquillity, with only 3% of Iceland's total inhabitants residing in its scattered farms and charming fishing villages. As we wind through the rugged mountains and along the expansive coastline, we're greeted by a mesmerizing spectacle: majestic waterfalls cascading down steep cliffsides and gentle rivers weaving their way into the narrow fjords, extending into the vastness of the North Atlantic.

DAY 5: Vatnajökull and South Shore
Close to Höfn lies the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón. Here, colossal icebergs calve off the main glacier, adorning the lagoon with surreal white and blue formations before drifting out to sea, some eventually washing ashore on Diamond Beach. Our journey proceeds to the lush oasis of Skaftafell National Park, nestled beneath the towering Vatnajökull glacier, crowned by Hvannadalshnjúkur, Iceland's tallest peak. En route, we traverse the volcanic landscapes of Eldhraun lava fields and marvel at the dark glacial remnants of Mýrdalssandur. Continuing onward, we reach Vík, renowned for its black sand beaches sculpted by the formidable Katla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Here, we encounter the awe-inspiring waterfalls of Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss before settling in for the night at Selfoss.

DAY 6: Golden Circle
On your last day, you'll embark on a journey to discover one of Iceland's most beloved attractions - the Golden Circle. This renowned scenic route offers a captivating exploration of breathtaking landmarks and historically significant sites in a circular tour. Experience the majestic cascades of Gullfoss, marvel at the mesmerising eruptions of the geyser Strokkur, which bursts every five minutes, sending forth a powerful jet of hot water and steam into the sky, and immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Thingvellir National Park. The Golden Circle perfectly encapsulates Iceland's wild and rugged natural allure. After a night back in Reykjavik, take some time to unwind before your journey homeward the following day.

DAY 7: Reykjavik
Regrettably, your journey concludes today. You'll check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
