Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVE SANDAKAN
In the afternoon arrive at Sandakan Airport, meet and greet by our representative at arrival hall. Proceed with transfer to MY Nature Resort and upon arrival enjoy lunch at the resort restaurant. After lunch proceed check in rest of at your own leisure.

DAY 2: SEPILOK ORANG UTAN, SUN BEAR, LABUK BAY PROBOSCIS MONLKEY & RAINFOREST DISCOVERY CENTRE
After breakfast, meet your guide at hotel lobby and embark to full day Sepilok Orang utan centre, Sun Bear conservation, Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey & Rainforest discovery centre.

Orang-Utan Sanctuary is a world-renowned center for rehabilitating Orang-utans that have been rescued from captivity or displaced by logging activities. The Breakfast animals are kept here for up to seven years until they are fit for release back into their natural habitat. Children love watching the Orang-utans; they are strangely human and look just like old men, you will also visit the new Sun Bear Centre.

Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant before proceed with tour to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey sanctuary & Rainforest Discovery Centre where you will follow nature trails through the reserve and can walk along a 147m long walkway through the forest canopy with stunning views of the huge trees that make up much of the rainforest. There are also a wide variety of bird species so keep your eyes peeled, after tour transfer back to resort before night fall.

DAY 3: AT LEISURE

DAY 4: DEPART SANDAKAN – ARRIVED KOTA KINABALU
Check out and you will transfer to Sandakan airport for your morning flight to Kota Kinabalu.
Arrive Kota Kinabalu International Airport, meet & greet and embark to 45 minutes’ transfer to Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort & Spa. Check in and at own leisure until afternoon.

DAY 5: HALF DAY KOTA KINABALU CITY DISCOVERY
Breakfast and enjoy free at own leisure until afternoon.
Afternoon at 1400Hrs meet with your guide at hotel lobby and proceed to visit the Heritage Village & museum for a closer view of Sabah's ethnic diversity highlighted by the unique local architectural styles of homes in North Borneo and the colorful costume display. Then, proceed for a City drive by major landmarks such as the State & City Mosque, Tg. Aru Beach & the highest building, Tun Mustapha Tower. Enjoy some leisure time mingling with the local people at the Handicraft market before stopping by a typical water village to capture the essence of life in Kota Kinabalu. After tour, return to hotel and enjoy the late evening at own leisure.

DAY 6: AT LEISURE
Breakfast and enjoy whole day free at own leisure or you may proceed with optional sightseeing.

* Mari Mari Cultural Village Experience
Duration: 5 hours Time: 0900Hrs – 1400Hrs Minimum: 02 Person
Today you take a trip back to the nature and lifestyles of historical Borneo at the Borneo Cultural Village.
Borneo people's living traditions are experienced through real interactive activities and performances as you receive an introduction to the different communities & tribes who have inhabited the island since antiquity.
Learn about local alcohol production…enjoy a few samples, test your skills on the blow-pipe challenge, try your hand at food preparation from yesteryear and interact with the ‘villagers’. Surprises and the opportunity to hone new ‘skills’ await, as you travel from community to community before enjoying a traditional dance performance and sumptuous lunch.

DAY 7: AT LEISURE

* Pandan Pandan Private Island Escape
Duration: 6.5 hours Time: 0800Hrs – 1430Hrs Minimum: 02 Person
Enjoy your own little slice of paradise…if only for one day!Pandan Pandan is a private island encircled by reefs, which are largely intact, and home to a variety of corals and marine life. You may stumble upon grouper, squids, baby barracudas and snappers as you snorkel, and if lady luck is on your side, you may also be greeted by playful dolphins or mother turtles.
Enjoy underwater sea walking and a fun banana boat ride, or let us know if you have your PADI certificate and we can arrange diving. We also offer the opportunity to participate in Coral Transplanting for those who wish to assist in the regeneration of sea….
Dress Code: Swimwear & a change of clothes (showers are available) comfortable shoes. Snorkeling gear and wet shoes etc will be provided.

* Full Day Mount Kinabalu & Poring Rainforest
Duration: 8.5 hours Time: 0800Hrs – 1630Hrs Minimum: 02 Person
The jagged granite peaks of Mt. Kinabalu (4095m) towers above one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Nominated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Kinabalu Park is a natural wonder that offers day visitors a glimpse into the fascinating and often unique world of flora within the park. The montane oak-chestnut forest at Park headquarters gives way to lowland dipterocarp forest at Poring on the eastern boundary. Trek through the rainforest and witness life in the treetops as you walk along the 100ft high Canopy Walkway (If Canopy walkway is closed, it will be replaced with a visit to the Poring Garden).
