Day 1: Arrival in Barletta
Arrive at Bari Airport, where your self-drive adventure begins. Collect your rental car and drive to Barletta, a historic town known for its Norman castle and Romanesque architecture. Settle into your hotel, enjoy some free time to explore or relax, and spend the night in this charming coastal destination.

Day 2: Castel del Monte & Trani
After breakfast, visit Castel del Monte, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its unique octagonal design and medieval history. Continue to Trani, a coastal gem with a stunning marina, a Romanesque cathedral overlooking the sea, and quaint alleyways filled with boutiques and cafes. Return to your hotel in Barletta for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bari & Conversano
Check out after breakfast and drive to Bari, the vibrant capital of Puglia. Discover its old town, filled with hidden corners, historic churches, and bustling piazzas. Then head to Conversano, where you’ll check into your next hotel. In the evening, enjoy a gourmet aperitivo at a charming Bistrot with views of the castle and lively main square, soaking in the town’s authentic atmosphere.

Day 4: Alberobello & the Trulli Towns
Spend the day exploring Alberobello, home to the iconic Trulli houses, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through its picturesque streets and learn about the unique dry-stone dwellings. Continue your journey to the nearby towns of Locorotondo and Martina Franca, known for their whitewashed charm and historic elegance.

Day 5: Polignano a Mare & Monopoli
Start your day in Polignano a Mare, famous for its dramatic cliffs, panoramic terraces, and turquoise waters. Stroll through its narrow streets and enjoy breathtaking coastal views. Later, visit Monopoli, where you’ll find a picturesque old town, a bustling harbour, and seafront piazzas perfect for soaking up the local culture.

Day 6: Ostuni & Arrival in Lecce
After breakfast, check out and head to Ostuni, the "White City," perched on a hill and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Wander its maze-like streets and enjoy its relaxed vibe before continuing to Lecce. Arrive at your hotel in Lecce, known for its Baroque splendour, and enjoy free time in the evening.

Day 7: Lecce, Otranto, or Gallipoli
Discover Lecce, often called the "Florence of the South," with its stunning Baroque architecture, elegant palaces, and vibrant squares. Alternatively, explore the coastal town of Otranto, home to a magnificent castle and cathedral with one of the largest floor mosaics in Europe. You can also opt to visit Gallipoli, a lively town with beautiful sandy beaches and a charming old town.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Bari Airport, return your rental car, and board your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Puglia’s stunning landscapes and cultural treasures.
