Planning a dream
Let us create and make your dreams come true
Built in the late 19th century, Seven Terraces was a contiguous row of Anglo-Chinese terrace houses located just behind the Goddess of Mercy Temple. The row of houses today is a sterling splendid example of an adaptive reuse of heritage buildings that were of low density and low impact.
The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 20-minute drive away.
Seven Terraces – this small private hotel of only 16 suites is by the award-winning hoteliers Christopher Ong. (Winners of the 2007 UNESCO Award of Distinction for heritage conservation and regular Conde Naste Hot List nominees). They have converted a grand row of seven C19th Anglo Chinese terraces, in one of Penang’s finest and most intact heritage streets, into a romantic, beautiful and timeless retreat, perfectly positioned in the very heart of the World Heritage Site, next door to the 1810 Goddess of Mercy Temple and just a few minutes walk from all the major icons. It successfully captures and celebrates the spirit of this world heritage town and its unique peranakan culture.
Featuring a balcony, spacious air-conditioned rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, a personal safe, ironing facilities and a flat-screen cable TV. En suite bathrooms come with a hairdryer, shower facilities and complimentary bath amenities.
It features an outdoor swimming pool and provides free Wi-Fi access in the entire property.
