The perfect pair
Take an escorted 13-night tour through the beautiful countries of Vietnam & Cambodia
Unlock the treasure trove of Southeast Asia on our Vietnam and Cambodia highlights tour. Vietnam and Cambodia are among the most unique and compelling destinations in the world, presenting an enchanting mix of cultural wonders, stunning landscapes, friendly people and intoxicating cities. The stigma of the Vietnam War has long gone and what is now uncovered is a truly fantastic destination that offers so many experiences.
In the past few years Vietnam has opened its doors to the world, and much has changed. Today, in one of the world’s last communist countries, the motorcycles and western dress of the industrious youth happily co-exist with orange-clad Buddhist monks and political posters from a different era. Visitors are impressed by the development of excellent hotels and services in all the major centres and the much-improved road network. Hanoi and Saigon still retain a French flavour in their pavement cafés, architecture and wide tree-lined boulevards.
You will go from exploring the backstreets of Hanoi, to doing sunrise Tai Chi on a boat in Halong Bay (one of the New Seven Wonders of the World), to exploring the historically-significant Cu Chi Tunnels and take in the phenomenal ruins of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat temple complex near Siem Reap. One of the most iconic landmarks anywhere in the World, ticking this site off your bucket list is the perfect way to top off an amazing adventure!

Old-fashioned in atmosphere, Hanoi has sidewalk cafes, pavement barbers, less traffic than Saigon, less frenetic rushing about, less noise, simply less people. Wide tree-lined bicycle-filled boulevards, elegant colonial French mansions, the grandeur and solemnity of Ho Chi Minh's monumental M...
Since being designated a World Heritage site in 1994, much has been made of Halong Bay’s mystical landscape of limestone islets. The natural beauty of the Bay is one of the highlights of any visit to Vietnam. There are many ways to experience the ethereal beauty of Halong Bay. Cruising the karsts aboard a luxury Chinese-style junk is hard to beat and take in the natural splendour of this region. The luxury junk trips take in the well-known caves and islands around the Bay in comfortable surroundings. The memories will stay with you forever. February to April is often cool and drizzly, and the ensuing fog can make visibility low, but also adds an ethereal air. From May to September tropical storms are frequent, and year-round, tourist boats sometimes need to alter their itineraries, depending on the weather.
Over the last few years, Hoi An has become a very popular tourist destination in Vietnam. The UN listed the historic trading town of Hoi An as a World Heritage site in 1999. The reason for this listing is due to the fact that the town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a 15th to 19th century Southeast Asian trading port. Hoi An has a distinct Chinese atmosphere with low, tile-roofed houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets still remains almost intact. All the houses were made of rare wood, decorated with lacquered boards and panels engraved with Chinese characters. Pillars were also carved with ornamental designs. Tourists can visit the relics of the Sa Huynh and Cham cultures. They can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the romantic Hoi An River, Cua Dai Beach, and Cham Island.
Ho Chi Minh City may not have the charm and elegance of Vietnams capital, Hanoi, but there is something invigorating and intoxicating about the bustling streets and waterside activity. Dramatic high-rise buildings dominate the shabby French colonial ones that are tucked away at their feet, whil...
