A city of storytellers and dreamers, where all are welcome with an authentic, friendly, creative, spirit. Despite its established reputation as the birthplace of country music, it has so much more to offer; an incredible food scene, nightlife, cultural arts and sport experiences and an abundance of hidden gems to discover. Nashville is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Tennessee.
Nashville’s musical reputation began with the Jubilee Singers of Fisk University, an all-black a capella group that toured the nation during the 1870s to raise money for the university, and Nashville was the first city nationwide to be granted an FM-broadcasting license. It is home to The Grand Ole Opry, the country’s longest-running radio station which began in 1925. The King, Elvis Presley recorded more than 200 songs at Nashville's historic RCA Studio B.
The museums in Nashville are as varied as the genres reverberating from the city’s music venues and recording studios. The must see museums include the Country Music Hall of Fame, Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery, the Frist Art Museum and recently opened National Museum of African American Music.
Opened March 2021, Fifth and Broadway is where the city comes to life.
Enjoy premier shopping, ridiculously good food and unbelievable downtown views.
Fun Fact - Nashville’s local culinary tradition, Hot Chicken, was originally created to inflict pain. The girlfriend of the Thornton Prince, who she believed was cheating on her, added extra seasoning to the batter in an attempt to make him suffer.
